Organized and participated as a panelist during a discussion supporting the Asian Comics exhibition. Coordinated and prepared questions for cosplayers and panelists whilst talking to the audience about the importance of cosplay as an art form. Answered questions about curatorial process and the connection of cosplays to the show. The discussion was attended by 30 participants, sparking discussions about resources for cosplayers and how curators can support non-traditional art forms.

Initiated and led the development of a well-received conference panel focusing on the value of early-career professional collaboration in museum spaces. Rima proposed the session concept, recruited a diverse group of panelists, and co-authored the official conference proposal. She also co-wrote the panel script and coordinated content development with each speaker to ensure a cohesive and impactful presentation.

The session was attended by over 40 participants, making it the most popular panel during its time slot. The conversation fostered open dialogue between emerging and senior museum professionals, with audience questions sparking valuable discussions about workplace culture, mentorship, and institutional support. The panel also provided practical strategies for early-career staff to seek collaborative opportunities and advocate for themselves within the field.

Spoke about managing institutional trust whilst curating pop culture work. Stepped in as a last minute replacement for an original speaker, creating my own writing, notes, and examples that conveyed the topic. Provided best practices about balancing curatorial standards and the ever-evolving nature of contemporary art. The talk was attended by over 60 partipants who were interested in learning about maintaining trust while curating non-traditional art forms.

Wrote a feature in the Seattle Art Museum blog how the museum uses technology to improve interpretation of artworks. Informed readers about the different processes curators and interpreters use to discuss artworks, and new trends in the field. Mentioned the challenges of interpreting sculptural and new media work, and how to curate them and give effective tours. The blog has been read by over 100 website viewers and recieved a special feature on the Seattle Art Museum social media accounts.
